The USS Resolute NCC - 77241 is a Federation warship tasked with exploring the Gamma Quadrant and patroling the borders of the Xul Empire. The tactical cruiser is the vanguard of the Megiddo Fleet, whose mission is to safeguard peaceful co-existence between the citizens of the United Federation of Planets and the inhabitants of the Gamma Quadrant. Following the Xul Invasion, Starfleet mandated an upgrade of the defenses in Megiddo Sector. The USS Resolute was dispatched to Megiddo to strengthen its fleet and protect the lives of Federation citizens.
