Located in the Gamma Quadrant, to the galactic south of the Bajoran Wormhole, the Megiddo System was named by the group of scientists who discovered the planet. The third planet in the star system was ideal for colonization and was remote enough that it was not claimed by any of the Gamma Quadrant's indigenous species. The mission of the scientists was to find a planet suitable for colonization that would serve as a central hub of operations for the Federation in the Gamma Quadrant. Since 2379, the Federation has built a massive orbital facility, colonized Megiddo III, is home to a fleet of starships and serves as a supply depot for the 7th Starfleet Marine Regiment located at the forward operating base named Paladin. As the Federation works to expand in the Gamma Quadrant, they have faced new adversaries and acquired a number of new allies. Star Trek: Megiddo is an online, forum-based role-playing game that allows you to assume the role of one of the characters at Megiddo III. We are a well-established game and have been online continuously since 2000, although the original site was initially launched in 1995. Star Trek: Megiddo is the result of many years of trial and error. We have established a base formula for continued success, yet we are constantly evolving to meet the needs of the members of our community. We invite you to join us. Membership is free.
